Aladdin Café is a Mediterranean and Greek cuisine restaurant nearby Kansas City.

Although Mediterranean cuisine has many dishes that include meat, there is always some vegetarian options. 

They have a great appetizers' selection. I shared with my family homemade Falafel and Cauliflower Zahra: 

Homemade falafel: Five patties of fava beans, chick peas, cilantro, garlic and onion blended and served with a parsley tahini sauce.

chopped tomato and cilantro served with tahini sauce

For entrée I shared Koshary and Krass pastry plate:  

 

Koshary: A dish of Egyptian rice, lentils, cumin and Mediterranean herbs topped with sautéed onion and cucumber yogurt.

Krass pastry plate (Spinach, onion and feta cheese in a flaky phyllo pastry served with herb spiced rice and grilled vegetable
